About the event
Renée Collins Georges, international jazz vocalist, teaching artist, and NARAS member, is honored to present a FREE International Jazz Day concert at the historic Bowie Playhouse, sponsored by a grant from the City of Bowie, Maryland.
“This concert is about connection—jazz has always brought people together,” says Georges, a former Ray Charles Raelette deeply committed to blending arts, education, and community engagement. This special Bowie celebration brings the global tradition of International Jazz Day home through an evening of soulful, swinging, and vibrant musical tapestries that highlight jazz’s unifying power, performed by Renée Georges & GEORJAZZ. #jazzday
